Person at Work
I spent the day with Colleen Conlin who is the studio manager of Ben’s Bells in Tucson, Ariz. Ben’s Bells is a great opportunity for locals in Tucson to not only achieve community service but also know they are doing it for a good cause. Basically, when people visit this little studio located on University Blvd., they create beautiful bells that will be place on trees around the city in the future. Visitors usually paint the bells or help around the studio.

Food For Thought
El Charro Café is a family based restaurant. I had the opportunity to meet not only one of the owners, Carlotta Flores, but also the employees of this famous mexican restaurant for three weeks. After previously tasting their delicious foods I knew I wanted to focus my Photographic Profile on this restaurant’s business. The cook the food with the customers in mind — only delivering the best quality. A unique fact that El Charro Café is known for is their Carne Seca. This type of meat is cooked on the roof and only at this restaurant. In fact, this meat can only be made in the city of Tucson because of the dry weather. Families and locals of Tucson always come back to this restaurant knowing that it will always remain consistent within the traditional mexican cooking.
